Book Review: Unexpected Love

Unexpected Love
God's Heart Revealed in Jesus' Conversations with Women
By
Julie Coleman

I love when books are mainly focused for women. It means that I typically should be able to understand the book on a bit of a deeper level. I also love books that really hit the subject of God's love for us. It's such a deep love and there is always something new we can learn.

This book didn't hit me in the right place, but I can't give it a bad review. I think at times I just look for books that go deeper and I would highly suggest this book for women who are maybe new believers or just beginning their journey. I have to say for me I didn't really feel that it was deep enough and a lot of what was said in the book were basic things that I had already known or learned.

The writing in this book is beautiful and will strike a good chord with most women. She does a great job of really showing the love and tenderness of God through the conversations Jesus had with many different women. If you question God's love...if you have a hard time accepting his love...if you desire to know more about God's love I highly recommend this book.
